Pamela Mills, CEO/Founder of Enriching Connections, LLC is a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist, Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer, Certified Dementia Care Manager and Assisted Living Manager. She holds a Masters of Arts degree from the Erickson School for the Management of Aging Services at University of Maryland. With over 20 years’ experience in the field of Aging Services, her primary specialties are with people living with neurocognitive impairment in their homes, Memory Care, Social Day and Assisted Living settings. Her work on generating and maintaining programs that support and enhance the wellbeing for older adults has been published in Longterm Living magazine, adopted as a corporate model for an upscale retirement community as well as presented at multiple conferences and webinars. As an Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia Care certified educator, Pamela hosts regular online trainings in the best practices for implementing person-directed dementia services for healthcare and senior living professionals across the nation. Most importantly, her heartfelt passion is for designing and implementing creative, insightful, person-directed services for older adults, where each person can feel independence, comfort, joy and achievement. In addition to spending time with family, Pamela and her husband enjoy outdoor activities, volunteering and tending to their flock of backyard chickens, ducks and household animal companions.
